When today’s guest Trish Healy read Celia’s (the 12-year-old daughter she and her husband were fostering at the time) wish list and saw she most wanted a sleepover party, it was a life-changing moment. WonderTent Parties was born and now five years later, the business has expanded from sleepovers to events and experiences for both children and adults.

I have known today’s guest, Lorraine DiGiovanni, for a very long time. She is my spiritual advisor and the real deal when it comes to intuitive energy healing. She had a thriving paralegal business in Philadelphia when she shared an experience with a terminally ill child that changed her professional trajectory.

In this episode, she and I talk about how the loss at a young age informed her future choices, why she decided to become a Certified Practitioner in Energy Healing Science, and how she knew that a career as a healer was waiting for her all along.

Once her mind was made up, Lorraine went from law to healing and then back to school for her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Temple University — all while working full-time. Now she deals with auras and chakras and helps her clients make their businesses more heart-centered.

Today’s guest Jennifer Cox has been dubbed the Tie-Dye “Ninja” and Denim Wash Specialist. She spent a highly successful 20-year career in corporate America as a Wash Specialist for Abercrombie & Fitch, Mossimo Supply at Target, and other private label denim brands. She’s made & designed clothing for everyone from Nordstroms to Macy’s, Target, and Walmart.

Jen accomplished all of this as a single mother of two sons before being laid off in early 2020. In this episode, she and I discuss the guts it took for her to bet on herself in a big way. She shares her journey into entrepreneurship during the pandemic. Jen is the Founder & CEO of Momma Osa, a company that creates tie-dye kits for Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom’s, Lands’ End, and more.
