Certainty of Purpose. Do you have it?

Once we master clarity in our business and life, we can see the effects spill over into our personal lives and the lives of those we work with. We become magnets for good things in our lives. There is a great power that comes with activating clarity and harnessing this power is necessary if we want to lead with ease. In this episode, I share my own definition of clarity and explain how to find it — both in your business and your personal life. I also talk about the certainty of purpose and how valuable it is as you attempt to stay on track.

When today’s guest Trish Healy read Celia’s (the 12-year-old daughter she and her husband were fostering at the time) wish list and saw she most wanted a sleepover party, it was a life-changing moment. WonderTent Parties was born and now five years later, the business has expanded from sleepovers to events and experiences for both children and adults.

In this episode, Trish shares her struggle to acknowledge that she didn’t need to wear all the hats in her new business and how referrals hugely benefited her business growth in the early days. She spent a highly successful 20-year career in corporate America as a Wash Specialist for Abercrombie & Fitch, Mossimo Supply at Target, and other private label denim brands. She’s made & designed clothing for everyone from Nordstroms to Macy’s, Target, and Walmart.

Jen accomplished all of this as a single mother of two sons before being laid off in early 2020. In this episode, she and I discuss the guts it took for her to bet on herself in a big way.
