Wow! Last weekend, I attended a conference to gain more tips and solutions into the ever changing world of marketing and business. I’m excited about the tools and solutions I brought back not only for myself but also the women I serve.
I’d like to extend a warm welcome to the members of the The San Fernando Valley Chapter of The International Association of Administrative Professionals. Last Tuesday night, I was fortunate to be able to speak to this wonderful group of women on “Creating The Spark and Igniting Passion for Their Work and Life.” I shared some valuable tips and solutions on how they can spark their creativity, foster positive relationships and get the self-care that every woman needs.
Today, my Mom arrived for a few weeks. I feel fortunate that she is able to make the trip from the East Coast to be with us for the Thanksgiving holiday. My children look forward to their time with “Nana.” And I, of course, look forward to time with my mom.
Next week is Thanksgiving. It’s a time when we begin to reflect on the year and express gratitude for those people who create meaning for us in our lives. One of our traditions at Thanksgiving, is to go around the dinner table and each person shares what they are grateful for. It’s a nice idea as sometimes, we can forget how fortunate we truly are. I’m feeling very abundant. In my Gratitude Journal this week, I’m feeling grateful for my Mom.
I’m taking next week off to spend some quality time with my family. I’ll see you back here the first week of December. 2009 is fast approaching! If we are going to accomplish our big ideas in 2009, it’s important that I know what we need answers for. Please send me your most important questions that you have about your life or the direction that you want your life to go in. Send them to Joy@SmartWomenSolutions.com. I will take some of your questions and answer them in future newsletters. I am “cooking” up some Big Ideas on how to better serve Smart Women (that’s you!) in 2009! I would love to hear from you!
Speaking of cooking, don’t miss today’s Thanksgiving Tips below.
