Floating On Air Literally! Florida, Here I Come…

Hey There Smart Women! I’m on a plane heading to Florida this morning to visit my parents. My mom is having knee surgery and my dad is turning 80 next week so it’s the perfect time for me to offer some support and celebration. I’m looking forward to having this time alone with them to reconnect.

Speaking of Celebrations! Last week I had my Annual “Appreciation Party” here in Los Angeles for my local clients and women who support my business. We had manicures, pedicures, foot massages, neck massages, champagne and lots of relaxing fun. Women really love being pampered so it ‘s the perfect way to say “Thank You.” How do you appreciate your clients and the people who support your business? This is one of the greatest gifts you can give your clients and customers—making them feel “special.”

The Martin Luther King holiday has had such a tremendous impact on both of my children and what it means to be free and independent. We’ve been reading books about Martin Luther King and having a variety of discussions on his impact in the world.
