I've been off the grid for the past few weeks enjoying spring break with my family and then I took a trip to the East Coast to spend some time with my father who's ailing. I also had a chance to reconnect with several friends from childhood and college, which is always a special treat.
May is conference season and I'm traveling locally quite a bit in order to connect with women entrepreneurs. On May 9th, I'll be the MC and panel leader for the South Bay Women's Conference here in Los Angeles. I just got the word that the conference is completely sold out so I'm thrilled about the electric energy that will be inside that room! Then the California Women's Conference is coming up on May 19 & 20 with a great lineup of women who are dedicated to creating change and shaping the future for women. If you plan to attend either of these events, be sure to let me know so we can connect and give each other a hug. : -)
This weekend, along with my co-leader, I'm headed out to an overnight camping trip with our Girl Scout Troop. There's no glamping here – we are truly roughing it. I'm not a huge fan of camping so wish me luck. : -)
