Hey there, Smart Women—how are you? As you can imagine from my last newsletter, things are busy around here as we prepare for our upcoming surgery. I’m focusing on self-care, family and making plans to fulfill my Big Ideas, Dreams and Goals for Smart Women in 2010.
Did you take my Smart Woman Survey yet? It takes less than 5 minutes and just for taking the survey, I’m offering my popular audio, “The 3 Steps Every Woman Needs to Launch Her Life into 2010 with Complete Success.” In the near future, this audio will only be available for purchase, so grab it now while it's F*R*E*E. I’ll be taking the survey down soon and really want your input, so hop on over and take the survey now!
I’m deeply moved by all of the calls and emails I’ve received since I wrote my article last week announcing my decision to donate one of my kidneys to my husband Greg who has Polycystic Kidney Disease. Although I cannot respond to every call or email, I want you to know that I read every single email. If you would like to stay connected to our recovery process, you can sign-up to receive email updates that someone will be posting to our recovery web site hosted by Caring Bridges. Visit us and just look for the Journal section at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/joyandgreg.
On Tuesday, I attended the Broad’s Circle Breakfast meeting, http://www.broadscircle.com/ where I had the opportunity to hear Dr. Jacqueline Kosecoff, Phd., CEO of Prescription Solutions and also one of Fortune’s Top 50 Most Powerful Women. She shared her amazing story as a mom, wife and journey from being a college professor to the ranks of CEO. If you are a woman entrepreneur and live locally here in Los Angeles, you should definitely check-out a Broad’s Circle event. I find the women to be great supporters of business and a wealth of information.
I want to wish you an abundant Thanksgiving holiday. My mom and sister will be arriving soon to celebrate with us and to support our healing. We all have so much to be grateful for. I invite you to stop for a moment and think of 3 things in your life that you are grateful for right now. It is only from a place of abundance and gratitude that we can receive more.
I’ll see you back here on December 3.
Be well,
