Hello Smart Women and Welcome to 2009! I am looking forward to this year. I'm holding the space for a bigger vision for myself and the women I serve.
We had a great time skiing in Park City. Both Jack and Jenna learned to ski. It's amazing how children discover and learn so quickly. I have a theory about this. It's the fear factor—they have none!
On Tuesday, I shared the morning with my Women's Alumnae Circle. What an inspirational group of Smart Women. We looked at what we need to let go of in our lives and also what we need to take on in order to make 2009 a successful launch for their Big Idea, Dreams, and Goals. These women have been together now for over 2 years and the bond and strength of the community is very present.
Last night I had a terrific time watching my 6-year-old daughter, Jenna, play her first game of basketball this season. Yes, she is a team member of the Palisades Gators. Picture this: A 6-year-old who is 42 inches tall, weighing 39 lbs., wearing bright orange shorts that were made for a 10-year-old, running up and down the basketball court. (Thank goodness for safety pins!)
I had a smile on my face for one solid hour. This is what it's all about. I invite you to go out this week and do something that puts a smile on your face for one solid hour. It feels really good…
Today I'm off to spend the morning with my Women's Success Circle. We will spend the morning working on their action plan for 2009. They are marketing, managing their time, and setting up support systems to create a successful launch for themselves this year.
And if you want to know more about what skiing and women entrepreneurs have in common, don't miss my article today!
Be well,
