Hey There Smart Women! February, the month of Love has arrived.

I had a great visit with my mom and dad a few weeks ago. With everything that’s going on in my own life, I initially questioned my decision to hop on a plane to Florida. I’m so delighted that I didn’t “second guess” myself on this one. It was much needed special time with my parents and it created some great memories for me including celebrating my Dad’s 80th birthday.

Earlier this week, I spent some time with the sales team at Sotheby’s International Realty. I shared with them the idea that marketing is a lot like playing baseball—you have to hit all the bases to score. Stay tuned for more on this one…

Last night I attended an event for First Tuesday, LA, an amazing group of women here in Los Angeles who are energetic entrepreneurs doing a lot of wonderful community service. I had the opportunity to hear Marianne Williamson speak at their event last night and of course, she was inspiring! She talked with a group of over 100 women about the importance of a woman’s voice in this country right now. It’s more important than ever before.
